The GUB231 switch is an effective and economical means by which you can connect two computers to one printer/scanner for quick effortless operation.

The GUB231 Automatic Printer Switch comes nicely packaged with accessories as listed above. The installation is a simple plug and play operation however, it is necessary to purchase a second cable to connect the second PC. The Installation disc was then loaded on both the PC's. Manually switching between both PC's was no problem as it is a single one touch operation. A diode lamp would flash two or three times and a series of beeps would then indicate which PC was set to print. Scanning to print was also the same one touch procedure.

Automatic Computer selection must be made by clicking on the icon displayed in the task bar to change the icon colour from red to green to indicate that the computer in use was selected to print without using the manual select button. This feature is handy if the manual switch is located too far from either computer to reach.

Using the 2.0 USB ports enabled very quick switching and the switch worked flawlessly during manual and automatic operation.
