Positive Features:

  1. Web Easy works as stated on the Avanquest web site.
  2. Comes with hundreds of web site templates:
  3. Easy to use and learn program.
  4. Built in and printable 176 page user guide
Negative Features:

  1. No FREE web site hosting, you need a credit card number and must pay a $9.99 fee to get your 'free' 3 months of web hosting.
  2. Editing predesigned template headings is tricky, if you buy the program, print the manual for a quick reference.
  3. Program will hang if you have other programs running at the time.

Overall, using Web easy 10 professional is exactly what the name says "easy." You can purchase the program online and either buy the box version, download version, or download with the CD version and for an extra fee purchase extended download times in case you lose the program. In the past, I have purchased several programs from Avanquest software and for the most part pleased with the results.

However, it really gets under my skin when a company advertises as part of the program, free web hosting. When I clicked through to set up a web hosting account I was immediately asked for credit card and to pay a $10 fee (which I suppose is for registering your name). I would like to see Avanquest put in future ads the actual truth that the end user must pay a fee and register with a credit card number to receive the Free web hosting. The heading into editing tools and Web easy look like any word processing toolbar and it's relatively easy to pick from a list whether you want to design or use a web template. We did encounter a few program hang-ups when running Web easy Pro 10 with word processing and e-mail programs together and I suggest running Web easy Pro by itself as this seemed to eliminate the hang-ups. In spite of the little glitches we had and seeing red at the word 'free', the program does work as stated on the website.

WebEasy professional 10:

  1. Web easy comes with a multitude of website templates for business, personal, family, clubs and organizations and hobbies.
  2. Program does have a well-written and documented, plus easy to read user’s manual of 179 pages.
  3. Editing can be tricky at times but works.
  4. Easy to use menu bar at top of screen with four primary menus for the user, and a Web easy web-hosting menu—if you want to use Web Easy Hosting.
There is no doubt Web easy professional 10-web design software program is good value for the money. If you want a quick and easy way of designing and hosting a website, Web Easy can do it for you.
